A It's simple: 1. Insert a SoftSense™ lancet into the front of the OneStep device until it clicks. 2. Gently twist off the lancet’s protective cap. 3. Press the OneStep device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the trigger button. 4. After collecting your blood sample, recap the used lancet and then slide the ejector forward to safely discard it. The process is quick and convenient for daily diabetes management at home or on the go.
A No. The Onestep lancing device is designed exclusively for use with SoftSense™ lancets to ensure optimal performance, comfort, and safety. Always use the designated SoftSense™ lancets for your diabetes testing needs.
A The OneStep device features an adjustable depth dial at its rear with 9 settings (Levels 1-9). You can easily select the appropriate depth for your skin type and blood sample needs. For first-time users or diabetic patients with delicate skin, it's recommended to start with a lower setting. This makes it a versatile tool for home blood glucose monitoring.
Too small a drop usually means the puncture is too shallow, circulation is low, the lancet isn’t fully seated, or thick calloused skin is resisting the finer needle; simply click OneStep® to a deeper setting, warm or massage your finger, insert a fresh lancet correctly, and—if your skin is tough—swap the 30 G for our wider 28 G or 26 G SoftSense® lancet; one of these tweaks will almost always give you a full, reliable sample.
